While immersing your feet in the water positive and negative ions are emitted by the machine, which re-energize the body and red blood cells. This type of machine is described as a Detoxification Machine because the response of a rebalanced body is to excrete any excess toxins via the kidneys, liver, bowels and skin, not only DURING, but also AFTER treatment.   The footbath triggers the body, and continues to detoxify for the next 24 to 48 hours.  The entire process takes 30-40 minutes for adults and is completely safe to use. It is however, not recommended for pregnant woman, anyone with a heart pacemaker, an organ transplant or epilepsy.

Studies show that an overall balancing effect occurs, along with a significant increase in the number of negative ions.  Ions are atoms or molecules that have lost or gained electrons [Free radicals are unpaired electrons]. If the atoms or molecules lose electrons, they become positively charged ions. If they gain electrons, they become negatively charged ions.  The ionic technique of cleansing through feet provides a full body purge of all vital organs, resulting in reduced menopause symptoms, menstrual cramps, sexual health problems, skin problems, acne, sleep problems, restlessness, stress, toothaches, wrinkles, aches and pains and yeast infections. Reiki (ray-key) is a very gentle, yet powerful Japanese technique for relaxation and stress relief. During the treatments the clients lay comfortably (fully clothed) while the practitioner lays their hands on or above the clients body. Reiki is a very safe effective complementary therapy. Reiki Healing works well with conventional medicine and other alternative therapies. It does not interfere with any medications or any other treatments, However it can increase the effectiveness of other treatments and medications while decreasing negative side effects.   Eileen and Amy are both Certified Reiki Master/Teachers offering treatments and classes, including Reiki I, Reiki II, ART and Master Level certification.
